Premium and credits
How AI credits work, how to top up and transfer them, and how to subscribe to Rick Premium.
AI commands spend credits, and groups can subscribe to Rick Premium for paid
perks. Check a balance with /balance or /mybalance, buy credits with
/topup, move them with /transfer, and subscribe with /premium.
AI credits
Some AI commands use the credit system to prevent abuse. With credits, Rick can charge for fair usage instead of flat monthly fees: AI usage depends heavily on input and output, and those vary significantly.
You do NOT need credits for non-AI commands such as token scans. Credits are only used for AI-related commands.
How it works
- Every chat and user gets some credits for free, and even more when you actively use Rick. You need credits to use the AI commands.
- User balance is prioritised over chat balance.
- Users are free to decide whether to buy personal or group/server credits.

Credits per successful command
Credits are only deducted when the command succeeds. Cached results cost less or nothing, as noted per command.

Check your balance
/balance- the credit balance of the current chat or server. In a Telegram DM it shows your personal balance./mybalance- your personal credit balance.
Buy credits
Rick aims to give all users and chats enough credits for AI commands under fair usage. Heavy users can buy more.
Send /topup in a DM with Rick. Pick a package of 100, 250, 500, 1000, or
2500 AI credits; the bot shows the price of each in Telegram Stars. In a
group, /topup only replies with a button that opens the DM.
On Telegram the only way to top up is Telegram Stars. Buy them inside the Telegram app, or buy Stars with crypto on Fragment. Stars can also be gifted, but you can NOT gift Stars you already own.
This payment process is handled by Telegram. Bots are required to use this method for any transaction.
Add credits to a group
Credits you buy are always added to your personal balance. You can use your personal balance to add credits to any group.
/transfer <amount>- run it in the group chat you want to add credits to. For example,/transfer 100moves 100 credits from your personal balance to that chat's balance. The chat must be a supergroup./transfer <amount> @username- send credits to another user instead. That user must have interacted with Rick before, for example by running/mybalance.
/transfer moves credits from your personal balance to the current server.

Subscribe to Premium
Use /premium in the group chat to pay with Telegram Stars. Rick offers
1 month or 3 months of group premium and shows the Stars price on the
buttons. The group must be a supergroup, and /premium does not work in a
DM. If the group already has premium, Rick says so and shows when it ends.
