Rick can post live World Cup score alerts in Telegram supergroups that opt
in with /sports on. Alerts carry the scoreline, the current Polymarket
odds when Rick has matched the market, and buttons to trade the outcome.
World Cup alerts are a Telegram group feature. Discord has no sports alerts
and no /sports command.
Sports alerts are off by default. A group admin has to enable them first.
Commands

Turn it on
Only group admins can change the setting, and only in a supergroup. Rick refuses the command in direct messages and in basic groups.
/sports on- enable score alerts. Rick confirms with "Sports score alerts enabled! Goals, HT and FT."/sports off- disable score alerts. This is the default./settings- check the current group setting.
Changes can take up to 5 minutes to apply.
Alerts
Rick follows the Polymarket sports feed and posts one message per event:
- Kickoff soon - about 15 minutes before the match starts.
- Kickoff - the match start.
- Goals and score changes - every goal, with the minute and the team that scored. When a score is corrected downwards, for example after a VAR review, Rick posts a Correction with the new scoreline instead.
- Half-time.
- Full-time.
Every alert ends with the current scoreline. When Rick has detected the Polymarket market for the match, it also adds the odds for each side and the draw, and a row of buttons: Poly opens the market on Polymarket, Future opens it on Future.news, and Axiom trades the outcome through Axiom. A fourth 🔫 button opens the event in PolyGun when Rick has its id. Without a matched market the alert has no odds and no buttons.
Rick sends each event once. A group that turns alerts off stops receiving them immediately, even mid-match.
