Reminders
Timed reminders for a chat, a channel, or your DM, and how Rick AI sets them.
Set a reminder and Rick posts your message when the timer runs out. List what
is still pending with /listreminders, or cancel one early with
/nevermind. Telegram also has /remindme for a personal reminder in your
DM with Rick.
Commands
| Platform | Command | Description |
|---|---|---|
| /remind | Post a reminder in this chat or channel after a duration. |
| /remindme | Personal reminder delivered to your DM with Rick. |
| /listreminders | Active reminders with their ids and due times. |
| /nevermind | Delete a reminder by its id. |
How reminders work
Give Rick a duration and a message. When the time is up, Rick posts the
message in the chat or channel where you set it. Each reminder gets a short id:
/listreminders shows ids and due times, and /nevermind <id> deletes one.
Reminders are time-based only. Rick does not trigger them on prices or events.
For reminders to work well, let Rick pin messages on Telegram, and let Rick
tag @here and @everyone on Discord. For /remindme, start a chat with
Rick first, or he cannot DM you.
/remind <duration> <message>- group reminder. Rick posts it in the chat and pins it when it has pin permission. Admins only in groups./remindme <duration> <message>- personal reminder, sent to your DM with Rick. Anyone can use it, in a group or in DM./listreminders- active reminders for this chat./nevermind <id>- delete a reminder.
Reply to a message with /remind or /remindme to attach the reminder to
it. You can skip the reminder text then. When it fires, Rick replies to that
original message.
Write the wait time with units you can combine, for example 45m, 2h,
1h30m, 7d12h, or 1d2h30m. Days (d), hours (h), minutes (m),
seconds (s), weeks (w), and months (mo, counted as 30 days) all
work. Examples: /remind 1h30m test and /remindme 3d token launch.
/listreminders and /nevermind apply to the chat you run them in. For a
/remindme reminder, use them in your DM with Rick.
Ask Rick to remind you
Ask Rick in chat, for example to remind you in 2 hours to check in. In a
group, only admins can set a chat reminder this way, same as /remind. Rick
can list reminders too. To delete one, use /nevermind. Each reply costs 1
AI credit, like any Core AI reply.
