Reputation
Members upvote and downvote each other with + and - replies in Telegram supergroups, /rep shows the stats, and /disable_rep turns it off.
Reputation lets a Telegram group reward reliable members and flag bad
actors. Reply to a message with + or - to vote in the group, ++ or --
to vote globally, and check anyone's standing with /rep.
The vote system is Telegram only and needs a supergroup. On Discord, /rep
shows the highest ranked members of the server and /guildrep the highest
ranking servers, see the Discord command reference.
Commands

Give reputation
Anyone is free to upvote or downvote anyone for any reason, within the daily limits. Votes always need to be a reply to another member's message.
+or-- vote within the group. Up to 3 group votes every 24 hours.++or--- vote globally, across all chats. One global vote every 24 hours, so choose wisely.
Rick confirms the vote with the member's group and global counts and how
many group votes you have left today, then removes your + or - trigger
message to keep the chat clean. If you hit the limit, Rick tells you when
the next vote is available.
Downvotes need standing
You need a net positive reputation of +3 to downvote other members. Net reputation is the upvotes you received minus the downvotes you received, counting both group and global votes.
Check reputation
/rep- your own stats./repin reply to a member's message - their stats./rep @ExactUsername- a member by username. This only works if the member is known to Rick, for example because they interacted with Rick in DMs./rep bestor/rep worst- the top 10 members of the group sorted by net reputation, best or worst first.
Moderate reputation
/disable_rep- toggle reputation off or on for the whole group. Admins only. While it is off,+and-replies are ignored.
Rick needs to delete messages
Make sure Rick can delete messages in the group, because vote triggers such as
+ and - and Rick's own limit notices are cleaned up automatically. See

Tips
These are suggestions, not rules. Every member has the same daily limits, so use your votes wisely.
- 🟢 When to upvote - a good call, a profitable thesis, general appreciation, strong agreement.
- 🔴 When to downvote - strong disagreement, negative interactions, scammers, toxic behaviour.
- 🧌 Dealing with trolls - if someone downvotes for fun, other members may decide to downvote that member. Once they fall below the net positive requirement, they can no longer cast downvotes.
